Future150 National All-American Camp (October 10-11, 2015): The moment he walked into the gym Sunday morning the opposing coach instructed his defenders to close out on Coulter Dotson. Regardless, Dotson hit three outside shots in the first five minutes. "He is a shooter," the coach kept yelling. And yet Dotson kept making his shots. Fantastic step-back triple. Moving off the ball and perimeter defense are still works in progress. -Andrew Force
Future150 Summit Camp: (May 30-31, 2015): Perhaps no player has grown more in the last year than Dotson. Every camp he attends he shows a new move, a new refined skill. This camp Dotson unveiled an NBA-level step-back three pointer. How can any high school guard defend a 6’5” shooter who pounces two yards diagonally backward as he releases. It is nearly as unguardable as Jordan’s fadeaway. This winter was very helpful for Dotson. He clearly understands how and where to get his shots from. The trajectory is remarkable and the ceiling is scary high. -Andrew Force
Future150 National Camp (Oct 11-12, 2014): Coulter Dotson- 2018, SF (TN) is one of those players that all coaches want on their team due to he can play multiple positions. He made shots all over the floor both in tranistion and the half court. He is definitely on of the best shooters from the 3-point line in the class from the wing position. Tons of upside to his game.
Elite 24 Camp (August 2nd-3rd, 2014): Coulter is a skilled power forward who can score on the perimeter or on the inside. He scores and rebounds the ball at a high rate, and runs the floor with ease. He also possesses a high basketball IQ.
