White Bluff, TN (Future150) -- Class of 2018 SF Coulter Dotson of Creek Wood (TN) is enjoying a great Sophomore season playing alongside 2016 Mercer commit Ross Cummings. The Future150 Alumni is putting up good numbers and has been working on a number of things to continue improving as a player.
"The season has been going great, we are undefeated in our district and I'm averaging 19 points per game," Dotson said. "I have been working on getting to the basket and finishing strong, and really trying to be a presence on the defensive end."
Dotson is a deadly shooter, and has a lethal step back jumper. If he can continue to improve on slashing the lane and getting more active on defense, his overall game will continue to shape into a more complete skill set. He certainly has a high ceiling and a few schools have jumped on board, showing interest in him.
"I have been getting interest from Belmont and Middle Tennessee State. I also visited Middle Tennessee State (in December) and watched them when they played VCU."
As just a Sophomore, if Dotson continues to develop he should see many division one schools around his area start to track his progress. It only seems like a matter of time before the Future150 Alum starts to add a few offers to his name.
Continue to follow along with Future150 as we continue to track many of our Alumni's progress on and off the court.
