  • Scout’s Notes:

Future150 All American Camp-(Oct 10-11, 2015) Rice put on a show all weekend long knocking down jumpers from all over the court.  His 3-point shot has become more consistent which is putting more pressure on the defense.  Once he made a few shots his defeneder was closing out hard which allowed him to attack the rim. He's an excellent rebounder from the wing position. As he adds muscle and becomes more confident off the bounce, he will be pretty much unstoppable.

Future150 Summit Camp- (May 30-31, 2015) Rice will be a college player.  Like Minaya, Rice shoots very well.  He can go missing for stretches if he isn’t hunting the ball.  AAU and camps are tough places to show off because you are surrounded by peers attempting to show off.  When Rice becomes more assertive he will reap the benefits immediately.  Outside shooting is his best skill.

Future150 National Camp (October 11-12, 2014) Rice was one of the more consistent shooter on Sunday making shots from all over the floor.  He is long, rangy and a good athelete.  He is a good finisher when attacking the rim.  At this stage of his game, his length might be his best asset which allows him guard mutliple positions and shoot over smaller defenders.  Tons of upside to his game.

Future150 Atlanta Camp (August 23rd-24th, 2014): Rice is an intriguing prospect who has a good shooting stroke. He did a good amount of damage in the mid-range, which is a lost art in today's game. He also showed the ability to get to the rim and knocked down a couple of threes throughout the weekend.
