Charlotte, NC (Future150) -- North and South Carolina have always been known for producing basketball talent, and during the next few years things look to be no different. Future150 will take a look at the prospects from the Carolina's in the 2017, 2018, and 2019 classes who seem like they may be heading for a big time summer.

JP Moorman2017 CF (Team CP3): Even though Moorman already has north of 20 offers with the biggest ones coming from the likes of Cincinnatti, Central Florida, Temple, VCU, and Virginia Tech, he still has continued to improve. The most eye opening improvement Moorman has made is his ball handling and his improved three point jumper. Realistically Moorman is a 6'7 wing guard, that can bang down low and rebound with force as well. His on-ball defense is nothing short of gritty, and he could be a defensive nightmare at the next level. It wouldn't be to anyones surprise if Moorman piles on more high major offers before he chooses where he will be playing his college ball at.

Thomas Allen, 2017 SG (Garner Road): Having already earned offers from the likes of Nebraska, NC State, Texas A&M, VCU, and Xavier among others, Allen has been playing very well on the Adidas Gauntlet Circuit so far this AAU season. With his elite shooting and playmaking abilities, Allen has what it takes to succeed at the highest level of college basketball. Like Moorman, expect Allen to continue to add the high major offers onto his list during the summer.

Brandon Huffman2017 F/C (Team Loaded NC): Huffman had a huge spring showing off his strength down low, cleaning the glass, and protecting the rim. It wasn't but four or five months ago when Huffman only had a few offers to his name. Now things have changed, and his stock is exploding. Now holding offers from Baylor, Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss, Kansas State, New Mexico, Tennessee, South Carolina, and USC among others it looks like Huffman will try to solidfy his status as a high major recruit heading forward.

Coby White2018 PG (Team CP3): White has stormed onto the college basketball recruiting scene the past few months and it seems like he's just scratching the surface. The electric guard can score and distribute with the best of them in his class. After picking up two ACC offers from Clemson and Wake Forest along with a St. Louis offer, it looks like White is in store for a big time summer.

John Newman2018 SF (Team CP3): One of the best playmakers in the entire state of NC, regardless of class, Newman finished off the Spring period strongly and is starting to make college coaches notice his deadly mid-range jumper and fantastic ball-handling and court vision for a wing. Newman lately added Cincinnatti, James Madison and Wake Forest offers to his list already consisting of Boston College, Charlotte, and Old Dominion.

Trey Wertz2018 SG (Team Loaded NC): Another Team Loaded NC product that had a very productive Spring, Wertz was showing off his beautiful long range stroke and good rebounding abilities for a guard on the Adidas Gauntlet Circuit. After picking up recent offers from Charlotte and Clemson, Wertz has also heard from Butler, Charleston, Davidson, Florida, Saint Louis, and Stanford lately. Expect the high major offers and interest to continue to roll his way over the summer.

Kaiden Rice2017 G/F (Central Carolina Force): Rice is a Future150 Alumni who has stoodout at multiple events. His size on the wing alone makes him an intriguing prospect at the D1 level. He currently holds one offer from American University but has recently saw more interest from other schools like Coastal Carolina, Holy Cross, Temple, and Yale. He has been at elite camps at Elon and Princeton recently making impressions, and it just seems like a matter of time before that offer list starts to pile up.

Tariq Simmons2017 CG (Upward Stars): Simmons currently holds offers from Charleston, Charleston Southern, Georgia Southern, Maryland-Eastern Shore, and Stephen F. Austin. His smart play with the ball in his hands, and clever scoring abilities should help Simmons add more mid-major offers to his list and possibly even a few high majors. Simmons has decent size at 6'2, and always seems to help improve his team when he's on the floor.

Iziah James2017 PG (Boo Williams): The Legacy Charter floor general is a special playmaker. He loves making his teammates better, and can score when he needs to. He has improved steadily over the past year and has seen offers from Alcorn State, Grambling State, Maryland-Eastern Shore, and Southern Illinois come his way. James is a low major prospect with mid-major upside and you would think if any programs around these levels are looking for a PG, here's your guy.

Sharone Wright, 2018 PG (Atlanta Xpress): Wright is a native of Florence, SC and has already seen his stock start to explode recently as offers from Auburn, Kansas State, and Wake Forest among others have been added to his list. Wright has great size (6'4) and strength for a guard, and there's no reason to think he will slow down or regress over the summer. Don't be surprised if Wright's offer list is loaded by the time it's all said and done.

Christian Brown2019 CF (Georgia Stars): Arguably the best prospect in SC right now, regardless of class, Brown has been playing very well on the Nike EYBL Circuit and already has plenty of high major offers to his name including Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, and Wake Forest among others. If Brown keeps up this level of play over the course of the summer, he could see some blue bloods start to knock on his door.

Joey Baker2019 G/F (Team Felton): Already standing at 6'7, Baker has a very mature game and is at his best when he's playing on the wing. He is capable of knocking down shots from very long range, and can also put the ball on the floor and finish over the top of the defense. Baker's most recent offer came from Tennessee and the high major offer trend should continue as he continues to build his name up over the summer live period.

Wendell Moore2019 SF (Team CP3): Moore has been a well known prospect in the Carolina's for quite some time now. Now it may be time for the Charlotte native to start becoming a more nationally known prospect. Moore is an incredibly smooth scorer that runs the floor very well and crashes the glass at all times. He's very hard to stop when slashing the lane and his three point jumper continues to improve. Moore already has offers from the likes of Georgia, NC State, Tennessee, UNC, and Wake Forest, along with interest from Duke. It will be interesting to see which schools hop on board during the summer live period.
