Future150 Elite24 All-American Camp (October 10-11, 2015): Roderick Smith (Future150 #139) is still somewhere between a small forward and a power forward. He can play power forward at the mid-major or low-major level. If he wants to be a HM wing he must improve defensive lateral mobility and get his handles to an elite level. Rebounding is incredible. Power the same. Smith got frustrated late in the camp and didn't give his customary 100%. -Andrew Force
Future150 Summit Camp: (May 30-31, 2015) The power of Roderick is staggering. His big body at 230 pounds, Smith reminds of a young Jared Sullinger. Standing 6-foot-6 inches, he loves to handle out high or dive down low. The truest test of his ceiling will be how he develops his back-to-the-basket feet. Judging by his athleticism and toughness mastering the post game should be an easy task. Look for him to make his debut in the national rankings next update. -Andrew Force
