Matt Garriga

• Scout’s Notes:

  Future 150 Underclassman camp (Feb. 28, - Mar. 1, 2015): Probably the best shooter at the camp.  He was shooting the ball lights out all weekend.  Matt also showed that he can get out in transition on the wing for some crafty finishes at the rim.  He's a scorer that can put up big numbers in a hurry. Matt played well without the ball always moving into open spots so his team could find him.  His shooting ability got him into the top 20 game where he continued to hit three after three.  Matt really needs to work on shooting off the dribble and ball handling skills to be a more versatile scorer.   Future150 Main Event Houston (March 27-29, 2015): Garriga had a great week for Team Overtime.  His team advanced to the Championship game thanks, in part, to his hot outside shooting and fast break points.  Garriga is great running off screens.  He also executes play calls perfectly.  Garriga's handle was better than expected.  He is not just a catch and shoot guy.  Andrew Force
