8/25/16: The powerful 6'6" post was a grown man at the middle school level. However, in recent months, he's shown that he is beginning to develop some wing skills. While he's dominant in the post with his footwork and low post moves, he's showing ability to handle the basketball in the open floor, as well as shooting range out to the three-point line. - Eric Hampford
2014 AAU Nationals - (7/2/14) Byers is a bruiser on the interior, who is highly skilled at finishing around the rim. He has a good face-up game and a variety of moves in the paint. For his size, Byers has very good feet. This allows him to have great inside position, while being able to guard multiple positions on the other end. The Baltimore (MD) native is as tough as they come. He models his game after Hakeem Olajuwon. - D. Piper
