Baltimore, MD (Future150) -- Cameron Byers Jr., 2020 CF, is coming off a very successful middle school season that saw a lot of highs.  He led his Mt. Carmel team to the championship while averaging 31.2 points per game and a lot of rebounds.  Cameron also had a season high of 49 points. That is remarkable giving the length of the game.

The 6-foot-4, combo forward has athleticism to a nice frame that allows him to rebound well on both ends of the floor and also finish in the lane.  While Cameron can punish most around the basket, he’s working on expanding his game.

“Right now I’m working on ball-handling and explosiveness," said Cameron.  "I also have been working on my face up game and how to break people down from the wing."

All these attributes were on display at the first NYBL event.

Cameron helped Team Durant to a 5-0 record at the first event with game highs being against E1T1 and Worldwide Wildcats, which he said both were good competition.

With AAU just now getting started, Cameron is definitely a kid who can see his ranking go up with the adjustments he is making.  He's been rolling with WACG as of late and helping add much needed size to a loaded roster.  They have been destroying teams with Cameron in the fold.

“Everybody watch out, I’m coming” said Cameron.
