    Gomes is a solid big man who must be considered one of the best defenders in the 2016 class. He has good quickness and knows how to stay strong in the post and force his man into bad/contested shots. Offensively he can finish around the basket and his post game has improved greatly. If he becomes a dominant low post scorer he will be one of the top players in his class.
