Future150 Elite24 All-American Camp (October 10-11, 2015): Jones III has taken a leap forward. Where once he was a on-ball defender capable of getting teammates involved, now he is a dynamic slasher/set up man who also creates countless turnovers. His +/- for turnovers was over +5 every game. He never coughs the pill back up, but gets his hands in everything. No camper all year was more coachable. Wonderful young man with great quickness and agility. -Andrew Force
Roy is a smooth point guard who can knock down shots but is also a leader on the floor. He has a good pace to his game and knows how to play the game the right way. He proved he can make the open jumper and plays with a high motor.
Atlanta Underclassman Camp (Mar.7-8 2015)- Roy had a phenomenal camp this weekend. He has grown a little since we last saw him, and so has his game. He scored on all three levels. He played tenacious on ball defense that led to steals and layups. Roy has a nice athleticism that allows him to get out in transition and finish plays. His offensive skill set allows him to beat you in the half court. It was great seeing the work he has put in paying off. Ricky Wilson
Atlanta Underclassmen Camp (March 7-8): Elite lateral mobility makes Jones III an impossible mark. He can't be stopped by high school guards. Even when Jones sustained a minor injury Sunday he was still quicker than anyone else at camp. Just after lunch Jones III took over a fullcourt game with Harlem Globetrotter-style handles and flashy passes. -Andrew Force
