Nashville, TN (Future150) -- The state of Tennessee has numerous recruiting updates, including a verbal commitment earlier this afternoon.

Jalen Dupree has selected a college home.

"I'm happy to say that I have committed to Murray State University," said Dupree on Twitter.  "Go Racers."

Dupree competed on the NIKE EYBL circuit with Team Penny.  He has wonderful D1 size, 6-foot-8.

Dupree's contributions on the taxing EYBL circuit were impressive.  He scored 18 points against Harry Giles and CP3.  He also averaged 6.7 rebounds per game against D1-sized frontlines.

Will Hrubes is feeling a strong connection with Liberty, but he intends to schedule another official visit soon.

Hrubes camped with Chattanooga, Middle Tennessee, and West Virginia.

Jordan Bone verbally committed to Tennessee, the school his older brother competed for under Bruce Pearl.

Class of 2017 combo guard Parker Stewart originally hails from Ohio, but he now reps Union City High School in Tennessee.

"Kansas State came to watch me today," texted Stewart September 14th.  Wyoming and Memphis have also been in to evaluate.

Stewart intends to take an unofficial to Wyoming this fall with his family.

Connor Arnold is a sleeper on the sleepy eastern half of the Volunteer State.  His recruitment is slowly gaining traction.

Tennessee Tech sent a coach in to evaluate him Thursday.  According to Arnold's father that marks seven D1 schools actively recruiting the swiftly growing combo forward.

Arnold's shooting touch and agility were enough to make him a college prospect.  He does face a challenge competing in a moderately rural region of the state.

But, his recruitment appropriately took off as he simultaneously grew 1.5 inches up and tacked on 35 pounds in the last 6 months.

Middle Tennessee called Donovan Sims this week.

"They said they have interest and are starting to recruit me," said Sims.

Sims plays for perenniel state title contenders Murfreesboro Blackman High with Donovan Page and David Ivy.  The trio of juniors are looking to continue the Blackman tradition this winter.

The roster will be bolstered with the maturation of Trenton Gibson, Future150 alumnus.
