Next year they need a better slate of over night games, I know its hard to get teams to sign on but its a great event that could draw a lot of viewers with the right teams

Agreed. I understand Hawaii makes the most sense in the 5 AM game but man is it a tough one to watch

I hope you guys are watching the Chase Fieler show right now. He’s got 30 points and 9 rebounds as FGCU is leading Hartford 53-41. They have no answer for him. Getting whatever he wants this half.

Hartford literally has NO help side defense. No way they should be able to come down and simply lob the ball to him three times in a row! Pack in that zone and make them beat you over over the top.

I wouldn’t exactly say FGCU is lighting it up right now. Hartford just isn’t that good.

FGCU does look more comfortable though. Coach Dooley seems to have these guys buying into his system right now.

Not sure but here’s my question: Does any one else think that FGCU has the guys to make a similar run as the one they made last year? Or get out of the round of 64 at the very least?

Tyreek Duren has been impressive to start this one. The Explorers will need him to play at this high level if they are going to be at the top of the A-10 this season. Still, they have some good guards and could sneak up on someone again if they make the dance in March. Which is much too far away for my liking.

Personally, I need to see more of FGCU before I can answer that one.

#### FGCU. One year wonder. I hope they pull a JMU and don’t get back to the tourney for 16 years.

I sense some bitterness here…. It might be because you are JTIII’s towel though. or are you his Dad’s towel? Hard to tell

How good is LaSalle? They seem to be legit. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know a thing about them last year.

John Thompson Jr., his son doesn’t perspire nearly as much as he did/does.

Also Flinn

Your thoughts?

@GoodmanESPN: Syracuse signee Chris McCullough has been dismissed from Brewster Academy for violation of team rules.

It really depends on their two star guards in Tyreek Duren and Tyrone Garland; they can carry them to a couple of tournament wins if they play well. the X-factor for me is Steve Zak. If he can give them a consistent interior presence on both ends it makes them a much better team.
