Gordon is a very athletic combo forward who plays with a relentless motor. He has started to draw comparisons to Blake Griffin due to his powerful style of play. He is a decent passer and has improved his ball handling in past year, making him that much more of a matchup nightmare.
While Gordon has the ability to hit perimeter jump shots, he lacks any real consistency in doing so. He also has a tendancy to want to bring the ball up the floor himself, costing him to miss potential fast break opportunities
