  Future150's Elite24 All-American Camp (08/05/17-08/06/17) - "Ackerman may have been the best passer in the camp out of the 2022 class. His court vision was on full display in both the halfcourt and transition setting, along with his crafty finishing abiltiies around the rim. He showed the ability to knock down the 3-point shot when left open and makes you pay in the open court. Even though he doesn't have the best size, Ackerman is a highly skilled, highly efficient lead guard with a bright future ahead of himself." 

  Future150 All-Southwest Qualifier Camp (March 4th-5th, 2017): He was a nice surprise when we saw him play this past weekend. He showed a good first step, nice ball-handling skills and the ability to finish over bigger players. Court vision in both the half and full court was one of his better attributes. He loves to compete on both ends and his overall production on the court makes his teammates better. Ackerman is definitely a lead guard that can do it all.
