Jordan Simmons is making a case for being the top point guard in the 2018 class.  He has all tools to be that guy. He is guy to watch and lookout for in the coming years.

There is a kid Jaylin Reed 5-7 SG-Wing from Virginia, Class 2018, who has just broke onto the National seen. Every National Camp he has attended, he makes the All Star teams with the names mentioned above and 1st team. Look for him to rise very quickly as he will be playing 13u for Team Loaded this season.

As of 17April2013 Marvin Bagley is the best player in the country for the Class of 2018. The young man can knock down the three ball, play the post, handle the ball, block shots, rebound (out of his space). I personally saw the young man catch lob passes for dunks as well as take a rebound coast to coast for a slam. In one game this past weekend I saw the young man put down five dunks….Very versatile player with a great up and under move on the block also….best 7th grader in the United States

Marvin Bagley III is the best player in the country right now in the 2018 class.  Ladarious Marshall’s upside for the MBA Hoops Elite is huge. Omar Kieta is a very hard worker (future high major).  Gavin Schoenwald has a motor that does not stop.  Camren Johnson is underrated.

Yea Bagley III is the best but there are a few that are on his heels…Marshall has a long way to go with his development….He has a ton of tools to work with but he is not polished as of yet.  He loves use his athleticism to his advantage.

I thought the 2018 class had some great talent on display this weekend at the Elite 24 Camp. Oumar Kieta was definitely the most impressive player in the 2018 class and is someone that I think deserves a top 5 national billing. Great job by Jason Pratt and his staff at Future150.
Players that impressed me from 2018….just my thoughts…
Oumar Kieta ..best player in the camp period. Best center in the country.
Ladarrious Marshall …best athlete in the camp (not even close)
Coulter Dotson…very versatile player..
Qon Murphy…best pure scorer I saw..
Ahmed Price…best slasher I saw..
Carlos Sandifer …PG good IQ…plays both sides of the ball.
D J Sims- most consistent player I saw.
Braxton Winford…kid has a Ferrari F40 motor.

I have personally seen some of the ALLEGED class of 2018 play in person. First of all it is littered with many reclassified kids and in the case of one top 5 kid, the guy is now probably 18 years old and has now moved to Kentucky and placed in the ninth grade. I am quite sure those who are well informed with the 2018 list know which guy I am referring to. I know reclassifying is quite legal and accepted and gives those kids a distinct advantage over their normal aged counterparts, but using a 17 year old at D1 8th Grade Nationals is getting a little out of hand.  It is funny though because the old kid’s team did poorly at nationals. I respect and appreciate some of these young baller’s skills and talents but play your REAL AGE GROUP and dominate them and I will be REALLY IMPRESSED!!!!!!! I think the class rankings should reflect on some of the age differences with some of these young men.

Greg Williams is the best player in the 2018 class. He’s 6’4 and he runs the point for Lafayette Christian Academy. His team is the #2 seed in the Class 1A playoffs in Louisiana. Finishes above the rim and can consistently knock down the 3 ball.
