  • Scout’s Notes:

    Future150 "The Summit" Camp (June 25th, 2016): One of the standout defenders at the camp was the 6'5" rising sophomore. An explosive athlete with long arms, he uses his wingspan to be a force on the offensive and defensive glass, as well as being a presence on defense as a shot-blocker. The next step in his evolution is to improve on his offensive skills.

    Future150 Final Four Weekend (April 1st-3rd, 2016): Chaney is an undersized four man who worked hard on the glass and scored on the low block when he got the ball. His motor and strength allowed him to clear space and rebound. He also showed what looked to be a solid mid-range jumper.
