  • Scout’s Notes:

    Future150 Houston Camp (August 16th-17th, 2014): The MVP of the camp was the 6-foot-7 wing. The Houston native is headed to Montverde Academy (FL) in a few weeks and has proven himself as a top 100 prospect in the 2015 class. Simply put, he did whatever he wanted this weekend. He is an explosive athlete who has made tremendous gains in his overall game, and is now one of the premier small forwards in the country.

    Reebok Breakout Classic (July 9th-11th, 2014): At 6-foot-7 he has great length and is a fantastic athlete. He is best served playing in a transition setting, but has the chance to be a lock down defender in the future.He also showed an improved stroke from beyond the arc.

    Under Armour Houston (May 16th-18th, 2014) Marquez is a long, athletic player who is always in attack mode. He has shown improved shooting numbers and his effeciancy is also on the rise. His length causes issues for opposing teams and he is relentless on the boards.
