Future150's Elite24 All-American Camp (08/05/17-08/06/17) - "Barnes is a two-way guard that showed how talented he was on both ends of the floor. A versatile defender, he consistently guarded the one, two, and three spots throughout the weekend. On the offensive end he was a very tough cover and was at his best when slashing to the rim, and draining pull up mid-range jumpers. Don't be surprised if he turns out to be one of the best prospects in southeast in the 2022 class."
Future150 All-Southwest Qualifier Camp (March 4th-5th, 2017): He's a well-rounded player who can do little bit of everything. His ability to score on all three levels was the most impressive thing we saw. 'Shot-maker' is one of his better attributes that was on full display this past weekend. He plays the game at a good pace, sees the court well and makes solid decisions when the ball is in his hands. He's a team player first, but can turn it up if he needs to go get a bucket.
