Los Angeles, CA (Future150) -- Over the past few months, we have seen several prospects decide to re-classify to better themselves for the future, whether it be moving up a year or waiting a year.
Trey Dickerson, who last played at Price High School (CA), has decided to go to prep school for an extra year, hoping to bolster his recruiting status.
"I think it is going to help me a lot," Dickerson said.
While it has only been a week since the 6-foot-1 point guard decided to make the move, his recruitment has actually been very busy.
The day he announced his intentions to re-classify, Dickerson heard from Washington State first, followed by USC.
He also landed an offer from Oakland University a few days afterwards, too.
With his recruitment moving fast, Dickerson also plans to move fairly quickly.
"I am going to visit USC Friday to checkout the campus and play some ball with the players."
Dickerson also hopes to have an early decision, somewhere around August or September.
A prep school decision has not been decided yet either, but Dickerson will be running on the AAU circuit in July with Texas PRO.
Stay tuned for more.
