Columbia, SC (Future150) -- Future150 took an expansive look at South Carolina with Accentuating South Carolina in early June.

This will be another sweep through the state, primarily focusing on the Upward Stars Southeast (adidas) and their recruiting updates.

A.J. Oliver is experiencing a promising bump this month.

Georgetown came in to watch A.J. Wednesday.  The junior has offers from Charleston, Clemson, Florida International, Old Dominion, and other smaller options.

Clemson stopped by Wednesday to see Tariq Simmons of the 16u squad.  At 6-foot-2, Simmons played very well on the ball, while Oliver and Nate Hinton (2018) operated off the ball.

Clemson also evaluated by Alex Caldwell (2018) Wednesday, according to Upward Stars on Twitter.

One last college visitor to an Upward Star today was Western Carolina.  They evaluated point guard Jordan Coleman (2017).  Tennessee Tech was in Tuesday for the same reason.

Final Push

The 17u team is just two months removed from their Early Signing Period.  Which guys are still deciding?

Xzavier Barmore just verbally committed to Liberty.  Of course, Brevin Galloway is going to sign with Charleston.

Jordan Bruner (Future150 #89) and De'Riante Jenkins are taking official visits.  Their decisions could come any week now.

Bruner still needs to stop by Tennessee and Clemson.  Both are pushing hard for him.  Their head coaches did in-home visits with him this month.  Georgia will host Bruner this upcoming weekend.

Last week Jenkins dropped by Tennessee.

Upward Stars Southeast Head Coach Curtis Wheeler keeps that wheel turning, by churning out athletic, college-bound hoopers each and every year.
