Iowa City, IA (Future150) -- The Big Dance is finally here and while everyone would like to cut down the nets, there can only be one champion. That being said, there is always the chance that the next season could be better than the last. With that in mind, Future150 would like to introduce "The Next Step", a segment dedicated to breaking down each program's recruiting class as they bow out of the tournament; because theres' always next season.

Iowa knocked out Temple in the first round in OT, but couldn't get the same result when they went up against Villanova. What's the next step for the Hawkeyes after losing four of their top five scorers to graduation?

Iowa welcomes a four man class consisting of one backcourt piece and three frontcourt members who should all be expected to contribute at some level after losing Jarrod Uthoff, Mike GesellAnthony Clemmons, and Adam Woodbury

Jordan Bohannon is the lone backcourt piece of this class. Bohannon is a smooth playmaker that has the abilities to score at all three levels. Even though he lacks elite height, he uses his crafty ball-handling to keep taller defenders on their toes.

The most highly touted recruit in the frontcourt of this class comes in the form of PF Tyler Cook out of St. Louis, Missouri. Cook is a super athletic four man that can finish strong around the rim and can step out and hit the mid-range jumper. His abilities to rebound and defend the interior will also come in hand after losing big men Uthoff and Woodbury.

The final two prospects in this class are C Ryan Kriener and PF Cordell Pemsl. While they aren't has skilled as Cook. They both have very good size for the high major level with Kriener standing at 6'10 and 240 pounds, and Pemsl at 6'8 and 235 pounds.

Expect the Hawkeyes to have some scary good frontcourt combinations on the floor over the next few years and to continue to contend in the Big Ten despite losing major talent and production.
