Corona, CA (Future150) -- Jalen Hill is a rising junior-to-be at Centennial High School in Corona, California and is already drawing major attention from schools on the west coast.
Hill officially lists offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Kansas State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Oregon, San Diego State, UCLA, & Vanderbilt.
"All those schools are recruiting me very well," said Hill. "At this point all the west coast schools are sticking out to me the most because I'm very close to them, but later on I will be able to take unoffical (visits) to the other ones."
When speaking on taking visits in the future Hill seems to be wide open to all the schools on his list.
"I really want to try to visit every school that has offered me to get a good viewpoint on each one."
The reasoning behind wanting to get out and see all the schools is quite simple, this will be one of the biggest decisions Jalen ever makes and he wants to make sure he knows the schools very well.
"This choice is going to be the biggest one in my life, so I want to make sure it's the right school (for me)," Hill said.
It's a great thing to see how serious Jalen is taking this process, and he knows how big his decision is going to be in the future. Some kids don't ever really seem to get a grasp on what is going on until middle of their senior season.
Frankly it is understandable when you remember how crazy the process can get and how much a kid can get tangled up into all of it.
Hill should keep his seatbelt buckled as schools aren't going to slow down as long as he keeps playing basketball.
Jalen also has tons of others expressing interest. Jalen said that Kansas, Michigan, Syracuse, and USC are the schools that he's garnering interest from that he would really like to secure an offer from in the future.
Hill competes with Compton Magic 17u. Future150.com recently featured another Compton Magic player, Jules Bernard. Future150 just featured Jules last week.
Keep an eye on Hill this coming season as he will start to gain more national recognition as the high major offers continue to grow on his list of potential suitors.
