Los Angeles, CA (Future150) -- Jules Bernard is a 2018 wing from Los Angeles, California and plays AAU with Compton Magic 16u. He recently picked up his first Division One offer from Colorado State. This should be the first of many as Bernard seems to have a very promising future ahead of him.

While chatting with Jules, I decided to ask him some fun and interesting questions rather than the normal things like skill development and strengths and weaknesses.

Here is our conversation:

Q: First question, obviously basketball is your main hobby, do you have anything else you are exceptionally good at or enjoy doing in your spare time?

Jules Bernard: Yeah, outside of basketball I like to dance and draw. I'm looking to draw at any chance I get.

Q: Next question, who is the best (rap) artist out right now?

JB: Well I'm a big fan of old school music but right now I listen to Migos, Future, and Chief Keef.

Q: Interesting, what old music/artist are you a big fan of?

JB: Bill Withers, Cheryl Lynn, and even though they aren't very old I also like A Tribe Called Quest.

Q: Why basketball? What made you fall in love with the sport?

JB: Definitely watching my older brother play YMCA basketball. Watching everyone cheer for him, and talk about him about every time he would pull off an amazing play. It just looked so fun to me as a young kid watching my brother play.

Q: Is there any current college or NBA player you really like to try and model your game after?

JB: In terms of my game on the court, I don't model my game after any single player. I just watch videos of different players and try to learn some of the different moves of the best guys in the NBA. As for practice and working out, I try my best to earn a Kobe-type reputation of being a gym rat and having one of the greatest work ethics the game has ever seen.

Q: Do you have any parents or relatives that have played in college or the pros?

JB: No, my mom played in high school and my uncle was a pretty good ball player in high school too, but that's about it.

Q: In terms of recruitment, do you have any college that is a dream school for you? Or a school you would feel honored by if they were to offer you in the future?

JB: Most likely one of the top-tier ACC schools like Duke, Louisville, and UNC. Or Kansas from the Big 12.

Q: Last question, as you move forward into your basketball career is there any certain thing you are looking foward to? Or any ultimate goals you want to achieve?

JB: A lot of people always say that they just want to make it to the NBA, but I want to get to the NBA and be one of the greatest to ever play the game.

Jules should be a fun one to watch in the future.  Continue to follow along here at Future150.com for all updates and news.  See where he ranks in the latest Class of 2018 rankings.
