North Carolina 2019 Post B.J. Mack Turning Heads

Charlotte, NC (Future150) -- There are very few states in the country that produce as much quality prep talent on a yearly basis as the state of North Carolina, and that trend looks to continue for quite some time.

In the 2019 class, one of the next big men to make waves in the market looks to be 6'6", 230-pound power forward B.J. Mack.

The Holy Trinity Catholic (NC) big man not only had a very successful summer on the AAU trail with Team United, but he followed that with a very impressive performance at Future150's Elite 24 Camp.

He was rated as the #9 overall performer in a strong 2019 class at the camp, and made a lasting impression on the entire Future150 staff.

"A prospect with a high ceiling is the 6-foot-6 power forward. He is a wide-bodied big man who also has the ability to step out and knock down the mid-range jumper and even showed that he can lead the break on occasion as well. While his boyish face and long limbs suggest that he's still growing, he also has tools to suggest he can become a dominant stretch-four at the next level if he continues to hone his skills.

While Team United has struggled a bit in the ultra-competitive Nike EYBL circuit over the past few years, having young studs like Mack coming up through the ranks give reason for optimism for the North Carolina based program.
