Plano, TX (Future150) -- A few months ago, people shot down the idea of Julius Randle playing with the Harrison twins in college. Fast-forward to March, and now Kentucky has assembled arguably the best recruiting class of all time.
After giving his commitment to John Calipari and Kentucky on ESPNU Wednesday afternoon, the Cats now have six of the top 25 players in the Class of 2013.
Randle, the No. 2 player in the Future150 rankings, joins Andrew Harrison (4), Aaron Harrison (5), Dakari Johnson (8), James Young (12), Marcus Lee (13), and Derek Willis (126).
The 6-foot-8 power forward chose Kentucky over Florida, Kansas, and Texas.
There is the possibility that Kentucky may not be done with this class yet. With Andrew Wiggins and Aaron Gordon, along with Dominique Hawkins, UK has the chance to add a few more pieces to the class.
Stay tuned for more analysis from the Future150 staff on Randle's commitment.
