Walkertown, NC (Future150) -- Ever since he came to Future150's "The Summit" Camp and showed out, arguably being the MVP selection, 2020 PG Jalen Cone of Walkertown High School (NC) has seen plenty of activity in his recruitment.

Since August, Cone has recieved offers from High Point, UNC-Greensboro, and Virginia Tech, and there are plenty other who have been inquiring about him and showing interest.

"New schools that have been showing interest since (The Summit) camp are NC State, UConn, Wake Forest, and Wisconsin," Cone said.

Now officially holding a high-major offer and seeing interest from many others, it's clear to see Cone is living up to the expectations of being one of top-ranked floor generals in his class.

Even though he just started his sophomore year about a month ago, and still has plenty of time left in his recruitment process, it is still important to know about the programs who have offered, and Cone decided to give a little insight on the three programs that have offered him since August.

"Virginia Tech has a great program and an even better coaching staff," Cone said. "UNC-Greensboro is where my parents graduated from and coach Wes Miller is an outstanding coach that has continued to build up a better program. Coach Cherry at High Point is another great coach, and their program is in the process of really blowing up and becoming bigger than they've ever been before."

With all that being said, he knows this is just the beginning of his recruiting process, and he has his eyes set on picking up other offers from the schools that have shown interest in him from the summer.

"I would love to see offers come in from all the schools showing interest, such as Georgia Tech, Clemson, NC State, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, UConn, and Virginia," Cone said.

With high school basketball season set to get back into full swing, we will be keeping a close eye on Jalen's progress and his recruitment process.
