Walkertown, NC (Future150) -- Jalen Cone is a class of 2020 PG that will be running with Team Loaded NC 16's on the Adidas Gauntlet Circuit this summer. He has been a very well known prospect in the Southeast for quite some time now, and now that the AAU season is here, he's on a mission.

"I'm out to prove that I can do everything on the court, and that I'm no doubt the best point guard in the 2020 class," Cone said. "At the end of the summer I would like to see my name in the ESPN Top 25 and the Future150 Top 25 amongst the best in our class."

For those who have seen Cone play on a consistent basis would probably agree that he is vey capable of being one of the best, if not the best, point guard in his class. He is a strong, unselfish lead guard that has a deadly mid-range jump shot and killer instincts when slashing to the rim.

"I try to model some of my game after old-school Baron Davis with his athleticism and ability to score at anytime," Cone said when asked if he tries to model his game after any college or pro player. "I also try to model after a little bit of Kyrie Irving's game by knocking down tough shots off the move from mid-range and deep three."

Even though the 2020 class obviously hasn't gotten as much recognition from the older classes, Cone has already seen interest from the likes of Georgia Tech, NC State, Virginia, and Wake Forest. This summer though, Cone would like to see some other schools start tracing his steps as well.

"I would like to start seeing some interest from Kansas, UNC, Louisville, and Stanford," Cone said. "They're all major programs that let their guards play."

It wouldn't be surprising to see some of those programs start recruiting him before the summer is over, as well as other high- major programs.

Keep an eye out for Cone on the Adidas Gauntlet this summer and stay locked in with Future150 as we continue to track his recruiting progress.
