Sio could be a great addition to a D2/LM program.

Concord, NC (Future150) -- 2017 CG Francis Sio of Cox Mill (NC) just recently helped his school win a state title and averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game throughout the season.

Despite his consistent play and winning a state championship, Sio has still been flying under the radar when it comes to recruitment. This comes as a complete shock to many because Sio can do it all on and off the court (4.0 Unweighted GPA).

As it stands right now he has offers from Lees-McRae and Newberry which are both DII programs. He has workouts for a few other Division II programs scheduled in the coming weeks, and also has seen interest from some DI programs including Coastal Carolina, Delaware State, James Madison, and Winthrop.

Sio is a no-brainer DII prospect right now and definitely has the talent and leadership abilities to make an impact at a low-major DI program over the next few years.

After a roller-coaster ride throughout his high school career, he closed it out at the top by winning a state championship and the ride doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. DII/LM DI programs still searching for a guard, this is your guy.

Stay locked in with Future150 as we continue to track Sio's recruitment process throughout the next few weeks!
