Chicago, IL (Future150) -- September brings a new phase in the recruitment process.  Seniors are scheduling official visits, while juniors are just beginning to feel the love from college recruiters.

All across the state of Illinois, hoopers are advancing their recruitments.  Many players from the Class of 2016 are embarking to college campuses.

Class of 2016 forward Zach Hollywood pulled in a Youngstown State offer Thursday  night.  The combo forward is just hinting at the truly impressive potential he has.  His father played for Youngstown State, so this is more than an ordinary option.

Hollywood is a tall shooter.  His nimble feet suggest he can contribute at the D1 level offensively.  Another tall, exciting forward from northern Illinois is Nick Rakocevic (Future150 #82).

He shared with Future150 that he is visiting West Virginia, on an official visit with the Mountaineers.

Illinois Wolves Again

The Illinois Wolves (UA) program prepares young men for college and basketball.  Last December Future150 composed a program profile.

Every year the Wolves put several student-athletes in colleges.  More than the mean, Wolves players succeed on and off the court.

This week Program Director Mike Mullins revealed many of the upcoming recruiting plans.

"T.J. Clifford will have Santa Clara in for a visit next week," said Coach Mullins.  "Northern Iowa will be in to see Trevion Bell and Clifford.  Jalen Clanton will have Santa Clara in for a visit.  Class of 2016 PG Daniko Jackson will have UIS in next week for a visit.

Point guard Keondre Schumacher will have Santa Clara in for a visit.  Carson Newsome will have UIC, Loyola, Bradley, and Arizona State to visit.

Isaiah Coleman-Lands and Joey St. Pierre have a host of schools visiting next week. Coleman's older brother is a freshman at Illinois.  Coleman-Lands will also have a high profile recruitment, like his brother.

Jackson Perkins will have Binghampton in for a visit.  He also plays football for Barrington High School.  Jonah Jackson visited Northern Illinois University unofficially this earlier this week.

Power guard Jamal Nixon will have Northern Iowa, Loyola, Evansville, and Northern Illinois all in for visits.

"Trevion Bell will have Illinois State, UIC, Loyola (IL), Bradley, Evansville, and NIU all in for visits," tweeted Coach Mullins.  "Daniko Jackson (2016) and Jalen Clanton (2017) will have both Western Illinois and Eastern Illinois in for visits."

Illinois Visits

During their first home football game of the season, the University of Illinois basketball team hosted top PG target Charlie Moore, Jordan Poole, and Damonte Williams.

Moore is critical for the program, as the great guard instructor Head Coach John Groce annually whiffs on point guard targets.  He nearly landed Quentin Snider, Jalen Brunson, and Jawun Evans.

In this recruiting cycle Moore is the #1 target.  Will this official visit deliver?
