Before the first weekend of the live period, Javis Howard of the Upward Stars (SC) was just a kid playing basketball. Now, things are changing.
So far this spring, Howard has gained interest from Radford, VCU, Appalachian State, Presbyterian, North Texas Jacksonville, and the Citadel. But bigger schools are coming too.
“South Carolina, Middle Tennessee State, Clemson, Ole Miss, and Temple are some new ones,” Howard said via text Thursday.
With only a couple of years of basketball under his belt, Javis is starting to blow up as a D-1 basketball player.
