After dominating during Montverde Academy’s (FL) first game at the City of Palms, recently reclassified star Dakari Johnson told a group of reporters he was down to three schools.

Georgetown, Kentucky, and Syracuse remain for Johnson, who is ranked No. 8 overall in Future150’s 2013 rankings, went a perfect 11-11 with 23 points and 10 rebounds to pace his team to an easy victory.

A Georgetown assistant was in attendance for the game; John Calipari visited the big man twice in a span of four days a few weeks ago.

Johnson will visit schools after the season, then he will have a decision.

Interesting, you are correct about both players’ recruitment. Had not noticed that.

I like Kentucky. I think he would complement the rest of the team very well and he gives a presence down low, something that Kentucky doesn’t have this year.
