Great news for the Memphis Tigers. Pookie blew up this summer and will be a great addition at the Pg spot. He’ll have a year to learn behind Joe Jackson and Antonio Barton , unless they leave early. He and Sam Craft will continue the strong pg play at Memphis, and the Tigers get Craft for free (lol…...at least by basketball schollies are concerned , since he’s going to play FB at the school).
Markel Crawford, Nick King, Pookie Powell and Sam Craft make a STRONG recruiting class for Josh Pastner as he keeps bringing in top talent.
Look for Dwight Coleby to commit, and one of Austin Nichols/Jonathon Williams III. Memphis is still in the Kuran Iverson sweepstakes, as well.
