With July and the live period about to be in full swing, Future150 has updated our 2013 rankings to reflect the play from May and June.

With our new rankings comes a new No. 1 in Julius Randle.

Randle has had solid performances in the EYBL so far this spring, and we feel he is the solid guy right now. Playing with the Texas Titans, Randle has led the league in rebounding and is top-five in scoring.

UPDATED RANKINGS

How do you guys like Akoy Agau as a player right now? Also is there a possibility that he could go up in future rankings?

We definitely feel like Akoy is a player that could continue to rise up in the rankings. He continues to get better, and I don’t think we see that changing. He could pickup several new offers after July.

Jabari Parker has been labeled the best high school basketball player since Lebron James. I just don’t ever think that he is that good and I have seen multiple recent rankings not having him as #1. Is he even close to Lebron?

He has been labeled the best player in the country for a while now and the expectations on him are so high all he can do now is fail.  He is not on Lebrons level and the fact he has been compared to Lebron is not fair to Jabari.  At the present time we felt like Julius had a better camp season in the month of June and has been more consistent on numbers out of the EYBL.  This doesn’t mean Jabari cant be #1 again, He is just needs to have a big July and hope Juilus is not as good…

How could anybody who has seen Jabari Parker play not rank him number one? It’s really kind of absurd. That said, I’ve never seen Julius Randle play. But Parker is, without a doubt, the best player I’ve seen in four or five years of watching these tournaments and I have a hard time believing there is a kid in his class who is better.

We understand why you would love Jabari Parker so much. He truly is a special talent. That being said, so is Julius Randle. You need to see this kid play. He is unreal. Both him and Parker are truly special prospects.

Also you gotta take into consideration rankings are about how they project to the next level and beyond.  We think both Randle and Parker are one and done type players.  We believe that Randle will be more successful early in his NBA due to his position.  So in saying that is the reason we have Randle and Harrison ahead of Parker.

I want some straight up answers on where you guys think a few kids will go. The kids I want to know about are Jabari Parker, Harrison Twins, Dominic Woodson, and Xavier Rathan-Mayes. Also do you think Andrew Wiggins will reclassify?

First and foremost, Andrew Wiggins will reclassify. It’s only a matter of time at this point. With Xavier Rathan Mayes, Texas has to be a frontrunner, especially with a history of Canadian talents who were Longhorns before heading to the NBA (Tristan Thompson and Cory Joseph). The Harrison twins will be Kentucky Wildcats, in Future150’s opinion. I personally believe Jabari Parker will end up at Michigan State. Dominic Woodson is hard to read right now, but his visit over the weekend to Kentucky could help sway him toward the Wildcats.

With Texas now out of the running for Xavier Rathan-Mayes who do you now believe will get his services?

I am very surprised that he eliminated the Longhorns from consideration. Now, I believe that Florida State is is in the drivers seat, considering his father played for the Seminoles.

What is your take on Jabari Parker adding UConn to his list Future150 guys? What do you think their chances are for him?

It’s going to be hard for Connecticut to make up ground this late in the game, but it is promising that Kevin Ollie and staff have an in-home with him coming up. Still going to be tough for them…
