A few weeks ago, it was stated that Shabazz would not be allowed to travel to China.
This was an UCLA decision.
And the most recent reports have confirmed this.

UCLA is refusing to talk about this matter.
“UCLA officials had no immediate comment Tuesday night, and Coach Ben Howland did not return a text message seeking comment.” per LA Times

Ron Holmes spoke to the NCAA months ago.
But, no one is believing his cool-aid. “too sweet”

The latest is (8/11/12)
“NCAA officials have spoken with Muhammad but have yet to speak with his family, the person said.”
The same questions remain unanswered by Ron since May 2012.
Ron Holmes has nothing new to add or has he hired legal help.

Note-
UCLA also believes that Shabazz/Ron violated recruiting guidelines by taking money.
This is why UCLA is not taking Shabazz to China.

There are a ton of rumors swirling out there regarding the eligibility of Muhammad for UCLA this season. I do think that he will be eligible to play this season, with a decision coming within the next several weeks.

What do you think about the eligibility of Providences 2012 recruit Ricardo Ledo?

At this juncture, I’m not very confident that Ledo will become eligible for Providence. I don’t have firsthand knowledge of the situation, but the fact that he has attended 4 high schools in 5 years is never a good sign. It seems that even PC head coach Ed Cooley doesn’t have a very good feel for if he will become eligible at this point either.
