Kentucky is now showing interest in 2013 big man Kennedy Meeks out of North Carolina.

Meeks says Kenny Payne has been in contact with him in the past few days.

I think James Young and the Harrisons are locks.

Depending on what happens with Chris Walker, if he gets an offer, I think UK gets him. I know a lot of people are sold on Julius Randle not coming to UK because of the Harrisons, and while I respect that, I’m not sure if I am on that bandwagon yet. It makes sense, but I have always thought of Kentucky, UNC, and Duke to contend for Randle.

As of right now, UK leads for Johnathan Williams, III, but I doubt it stays like that.

The biggest thing in this class is adding a big man. Cauley will be on the roster, but I’m sure Cal would like to add another. Marcus Lee and Kennedy Meeks have received interest, but I would be very surprised if they ended up at Kentucky.

I have heard for awhile he will be 2013. In the end, I think he will, for a couple of reasons:

1.) Xavier Rathan-Mayes, who is like a brother to Wiggins, re-classified recently. I think that will push Wiggins.

2.) Who talks about having the ability to re-classify and not do it? We were in the same discussion with Nerlens Noel last year. He always denied it, but in the end, he re-classified.

Doubt it. I think we would have heard from him by now… And I think Calipari would have to see him. Orlando Antigua at the least
