  Benson is the prototypical point guard; he is a strong and vocal leader and coach on the court. Benson is a pure shooting lefty that is constantly adding more to his game. The point guard has good size and works hard on both ends of the court.

• Weaknesses:
  

  Benson must gain weight and add strength to his frame. Benson is a crafty and efficient passer, but he must continue to grow his decision making skills. Benson was the primary offensive threat for his high school this year and was looked at to score in bunches, because of that his shot selection can be questionable at times.
