Nashville, TN (Future150) -- Future150's #16 prospect nationally in the class of 2018 is already making waves on the varsity level this season at Brentwood Academy (TN), just south of Nashville.
Gavin Schoenwald, a 6-foot-4 small forward, is already getting his feet wet at the high school level despite being only an eighth grader.
The talented forward has been a standout on the AAU circuit for several years now, most recently with We All Can Go, a stacked program also featuring the nations #1 prospect, Marvin Bagley, as well as speedy Nashville guard Camron Johnson.
Future150 was in New Orleans for the Super 60 in May and had the chance to watch Schoenwald help lead his team to the 7th Grade National Championship.
He impressed with his physical play, a wing who can push the ball in transition, finish around the rim with both hands, and a prospect who loves to rebound the basketball.
As his body and game continue to grow and evolve, we look forward to seeing improved consistency on his jump shot and improved ball skills.
As it stands right now, his development is going just fine, and Future150 will continue to monitor the local product going forward.
