Houston, TX (Future150) -- The 14U division saw TBTSports Disciples and the Capital City Crushers battle it out in the title game before the Disciples ran way with it in the end. TBT featured one of the breakout stars of the tournament in 2021 6'5" F/C Jack Witmer, along with 2021 5'10" PG Khi Watkins. For the Crushers, 2021 5'9" CG Carlos Stewart Jr. had another huge weekend putting up huge numbers, including multiple 30+ point games!

Future150 Houston Battleground 14U Honor Roll:
Carlos Stewart Jr., 2021 CG, Capital City Crushers (LA): Stewart is becoming a regular standout at Future150 Exposure Tournament events. The 5'10" combo guard is a supremely talented scorer and is a matchup nightmare due to his speed, handles, and deadly ability to score from all three levels. It would be nice to see him hit a growth spurt as he heads into his first season of high school basketball.
JaCory Chatman, 2022 CG, Team Kemistry-Chatman (TX): Chatman recently earned an invite to Future150's Elite24 Camp, and proved his worth this weekend. His elite ball-handling abilities paired with his great court vision and slashing/shooting abiltiies make him a fantastic true combo guard. He will definitely need to add some muscle to his frame as he gets older, but the potential is definitely there.
Joel Oluokun, 2022 PF, Texas Inferno (TX): Playing up, Oluokun was a little undersized in the paint standing just around 6'0", but he always played hard and never stopped until he heard a whistle blow or the buzzer sound. He has a raw skill set, but you can tell the potential is definitely there for Oluokun to develop into a dominant player.
Jack Witmer, 2021 F/C, TBTSports Disciples (TX): Witmer was impressive from the get-go on Friday night to open up pool play. Even though advanced stats weren't kept, it would be silly not to think that he easily averaged a double-double on the weekend. At just over 6'5", Witmer has good size for a post his age. What's even better is his footwork and rebounding skills. A whole lot to like from this young prospect.
Josh Farmer, 2021 CF, Team Kemistry-Reed (TX): At 6'6", Farmer towered over many of his defenders. He was using his length to his advantage by shooting over the top of the defense from the perimeter and in. The physical intangibles and raw skill set is there, once he becomes a bit more polished and learns to keep his motor running all the time when he's on the floor, he could be a very special player.
Khi Watkins, 2021 PG, TBTSports Disciples (TX): Watkins had a slow start to the weekend, but once bracket play started up he was nearly unstoppable. The 5'10" lead guard can score from all three levels, and was making some beautiful passes in the halfcourt setting. He has a solid bounce in his step, and was rebounding the ball well for a point guard. Arguably one of the best potential college prospects in the 14U division.
Elijah Hill, 2022 PF, A.C.S. Warriors (TX): One of the youngest prospects in the 14U division, the 7th grade Hill stands over 6'3" and dominated the glass on both ends during pool play. He isn't the most polished scorer down low, but the potential is there for Hill to develop into a dominant post over the next few years depending on growth and development.
Lawrence Pierre, 2021 G/F, Capital City Crushers (LA): Pierre is a fundamental wing guard that can put up 30 points quietly. His slashing abilities allow him to get to the line on a consistent basis, and he is a very skilled mid-range shooter off the bounce. Even though he isn't the most flashy prospect, he gets the job done and ultimately helped his team win many games.
