Houston, TX (Future150) -- Contributions made by Andrew Force.

The Future150 staff is in Houston to for the PrimeTime Sports Clutch City Classic. Here we highlight the top 12-14u players that played at a high level on Saturday.

Collin Montgomery PF 2021, Express: Montgomery plays with an extremely high motor, which results in put backs from offensive rebounds. Montgomery scores mainly from inside right now, but he did show the potential to score from the perimeter when he is patient with the ball.

Josh Farrell PG 2021, Elite Basketball: Farrell was one of the top guards in the 6th grade division. He can score from anywhere on the court. Farrell has a very effective hesitation cross that creates space for him to drive or to shoot.

Leron Brown, SF 2019, Houston Kings: Brown was one of our favorite players we saw today.  His play is infectious and his motor never stops.  He was all over the court making an impact and giving his team second and third opportunities to score. He was getting big rebound after rebound on both ends. If you left him open he would just knock down jumpers. He gets MVP on Day 1.

Dangelo Martinez PG 2019, San Angelo Storm: Martinez makes the game look easy with his style of play. Martinez doesn't force the issue on offense, which limits his turnovers.  A good set shooter, Martinez runs the lanes well in transition.  Arguably he was the best player in the 8th grade division on Saturday.

Jayden Bennett SG 2021, Zero Gravity: Bennett was too physical for his matchups on Saturday as he was finishing despite contact. He runs the lanes well.  He is also patient for his shot in the half court setting.

Carter Comeaux PG 2021, CutTheNets: Cormeaux is a pure point guard. Handled pressure well when teams were press. A player that won't put up gaudy stats but made a huge impact on the game.

Cemaj Trahan SG 2019, Lake Houston Knights: Trahan was impressive pressing for his team. He reads the offensive player's eyes well, which leads to steals and easy layups for himself. A good shooter off the catch, Trahan hits most shots once his feet are set.

Javon Jackson PG 2020, Lake Houston Knights: A seventh grader playing up in the 8th grade division, Jackson held his own offensively. He is a guard with quick handles and a good 3pt shot. Jackson doesn't look to drive against teams as much as he should. If he works on it Jackson might become a high major player.

Cortland Grover CG 2019: Texas Inferno: Grover is a big guard that has consistent motion on his jumpshot. He does create for others well and plays intense on ball defense, which leads to steals and transition layup

Noah Smith, 2019 C, Elevation Sports: A giant of a middle school man, Smith has a little wiggle in his game.  As you would expect he gets every rebound in his area.  As the competition grows to catch up Smith will need to prove he can defend the leapers in the lane.  His strength and mobility are very good for his age.

Joshua Ferguson, 2019 PF, Texas Inferno: Ferguson packs on 172 pounds, prior to enrolling in high school.  Taylor High might benefit from Ferguson twofold.  He appears to be a football player in addition to wrangling countless rebounds on the hardwood.  Ferguson is currently built like a sophomore.

Isaiah Babalola, 2019 G, Texas Inferno: This wing is an elite athlete fully capable of dominating at the next level...high school.  It is difficult to guess his ceiling beyond that step, but he gets off the floor very well.  Babalola's handle is so gooda t 6'1" that he operate the point often.  He has already mastered the crossover dribble and he can pass with either hand.  Babalola might have the best basketball future of every Clutch City Classic attendee.

Darius Babalola, 2019 SG, Texas Inferno: Where Isaiah is more skilled with the ball, Darius glides around the floor.  He is just average shoooting outside the paint, but he can knock down the occasional triple.  The reason Babalola projects as a recruitable wing is simply his exceptional change of direction.
