Nashville, TN (Future150) -- In terms of post prospects in the middle school ranks, you won't find many as big as 6-foot-9 Mississippi power forward/center Omar Kieta, our #3 ranked prospect in the 2018 class.
The shot-blocking post prospect runs the floor extremely well for a big man and finishes well around the rim. He also plays with a high motor and is a solid low post passer. The youngster is worth tracking going forward, and you will find him playing this season at the Cordia School in Kentucky.
Another prospect who climbed considerably in our latest rankings is Louisiana guard Javonte Smart, checking in at #20 in the class.
The 6-foot-1 Baton Rouge native is a smooth combo guard who has excellent vision on the floor. He also has advanced court vision for a prospect his age.
