Queens, NY (Future150) -- Nathaniel Pierre is not a very well known player in the class of 2017, but is someone that is trying to make his mark.
He is a 6-foot-3, 210 pound forward that can overwhelm opponents with his size and strength.
Pierre is a strong defensive minded player, who is always putting intense pressure on his defender.
Handling the ball and scoring are also some very smooth parts of Pierre’s game.
“I know that I have some strong abilities, but my offensive game is not where I want it to be,” Pierre advised. “I want to work on hard on my scoring ability and the strength of my jump shot.”
Knowing what he has to work on is only going to make him an even stronger player than he already is.
Right now he is kind of a raw player and he feels that compares to someone very similar in the air.
“I think I am a lot like Oklahoma City Thunder Center Serge Ibacka,” Pierre told Jr. Future150. “We both are very good defenders.”
The main goal for Pierre is to keep improving on his game, hoping that it will take him to the next level after high school graduation one day. One specific college is already been set in his mind that he would like to attend.
“I think my dream college at this time would have to be Syracuse University,” Pierre claimed. “Syracuse just really has a great basketball program that I like a lot.”
He knows that is a big dream, but he will work hard to achieve that goal.
With his size and potential he is going to be a great player to watch grow over the next couple of years.
