Pottsville, PA (Future150) -- Throughout this past AAU season, the Memphis Wildcats were one of the most impressive 2021 teams on the national circuit. Led by top 10 prospect Johnathan Lawson, they won several tournament championships, and impressed with each event they attended.
Quietly, 6'0" guard Jalen Brown had a sparkling summer as well, and capped it off at the Future150 Elite24 Camp in August, earning a spot in the coveted Elite24 All-Star Game.
A spidery combo guard with natural scoring and distributing ability, it's still too early to tell which position will be "home" for him in the future. However, he's very effective in both spots right now thanks to his array of skills.
After showing out at the camp, he earned his #45 ranking nationally in the 2021 class, making him a marked man not only in the ultra-competitive city of Memphis, but across the Southeast as well.
Teaming with Lawson and point guard Kennedy Chandler, the Memphis Wildcats will again be one of the premier teams on the AAU trail this coming season, and it won't take long for everyone else to notice to quiet assassin who fills up the stat sheet in every big game.
