Houston, TX (Future150) -- The Jr.Houston Future150 Camp came to a close on Sunday, with several standouts making a name for themselves in the Top 40 All-Star Game. Here are a few of the best performers of the day...

Mykell Robinson, 2019 CG: The smooth 5-foot-5 combo guard was impressing us with his court vision and his ability to find open teammates while playing fundamental basketball. When left open, he knocked down shots from mid-range as well as long distance. It's going to be fun to watch the Missouri City, Texas prospect develop over the coming years.

Dillion Davis, 2019 C: The 6-foot post player was one of the few prospects in the camp, regardless of class, to showcase solid footwork as well as low post moves. Whether he was given the basketball in the post, or he collected it on rebounds, you could almost guarantee that he would finish plays at the rim with either hand.

Keiman Capers, 2019 PF:The Houston Defender forward is a 6-foot post prospect who has a multitude of skills. He can finish at the rim with either hand, and can also handle the ball and start the fast break. He is even a capable and willing passer. Very high upside prospect.

Brycen Perkins, 2020 PF: The most impressive rising 6th grader at camp was the 5-foot-9 forward. Not only was he much bigger than his classmates, but his skills were also very advanced when compared to fellow campers. He finished well at the rim, and can use either hand when doing so. He is also a big rebounder with a high motor.

Aren Thomas2018 PG: A shifty playmaker at 5-foot-3, the sturdy point guard had the crowd buzzing with his playmaking skills and dribbling tricks. He can get into the lane with ease and loves to take his defender off-the-dribble. He is also a solid finisher around the rim.

Cannon Baker, 2020 PG: Although he was one of the smaller campers in attendance, Cannon proved that height doesn't matter when you have the skills to play. The big time shot maker was very efficient all weekend, and picked his spots well against much bigger competition. Very smart point guard prospect.

Jaylen Davis, 2019 PG: The most effective player in the Top 40 game was the muscular guard. He was knocking down shots all game and used an explosive first step to get into the lane and create for others. He also took the challenge upon himself of guarding the opposing teams best offensive player.

DH Dew, 2020 PG: A vast improvement over the past six months had DH cracking the list of all-star participants. The dribbling machine is crafty with the ball in his hands and plays with a high basketball IQ. He really made his mark in three-on-three play Sunday, when he was cooking defenders with long range bombs.

Breylon Garcia, 2019 PF: The tallest prospect in the Top 40 game made his mark by rebounding everything in his area, finishing around the rim, and using a high motor to get baskets in transition. His physical defense also made it hard for others to score around the rim.

Kenan Mitchell, 2018 SG: The ambidextrous 5-foot-8 shooting guard was fun to watch. He is a crafty passer, and because he can use either hand well, you never know how he is going to finish a play. While his jump shot still needs work, he has the potential to become a good lead guard.

For future endeavors as a service to children in your most earnest opinion please scrutinize the elite players from the average and/ or developmental. Height is not a pre requisite to be considered elite at this young age is it. Thank you for addressing this matter expeditiously.

2020 point guard, Cannon Baker was very excited to be selected for the Top 40 All-Star Game. He was the youngest and smallest camper but he played with a lot of heart and he competed the entire weekend. In the weeks prior to the camp, he trained with John Lucas @ Prince Gym and his skill level increased dramatically. He’s a 10 year old and will attend sixth grade in the fall at Wood Creek Middle School of Humble ISD. Good job Cannonball, be proud but never satisfied!!!
