Baltimore, MD (Future150) -- Despite being in the 8th grade, Jordan Toles has already begun to make quite the name for himself. He's made the varsity team at St. Frances Academy, a powerhouse prep program out of the Baltimore area.
With a number of veteran guards ahead of him, he isn't quite getting a ton of minutes yet, but learning from a number of division one prospects in front of him will only help him in the future.
At 6-foot-3, Toles is a high level athlete and a fantastic slasher. He has better body control than a majority of players his age and finds a way to finish around the rim. Toles also has the tools to be a great defender, and was one of the top players at the first session of The Proving Groud.
Playing with Baltimore United, Toles is one of the featured guys on a loaded team. His ability to put the ball on the floor and get into the lane also allows him to make plays for his teammates as well.
"I'm just focused on working on my game and getting better, hopefully we can keep this strong start going and win this league," Toles said at the first session.
With Baltimore United becoming a UA sponsored program this spring and summer could provide some added exposure for the talented wing, who could net his first scholarship offer sooner rather than later. Follow along with Future150 as we continue to track the Maryland product.
