Houston, TX (Future150) -- Future150 was in Houston, Texas on Memorial Day weekend hosting the annual Memorial Day Classic Tournament at the MI3 Center. Tons of teams from several different states were on hand showcasing their talents.

The Fort Bend Eclipse defeated the Capital City Crushers in the Championship game 76-65.  Great competition all weekend long.

Here are the top performers from the 14U division:

O'Dili O'Heri, 2020 PF (Urban Kings) - O'Heri was definitely one of the more impressive frontcourt players in the age division over the course of the weekend. He ran the floor extremely well and loved chasing guards down on the fast break to swat their shot away. He cleaned up plenty of misses on the offensive glass, and muscled his way to some easy buckets inside with some solid moves.

Shannon Johnson, 2020 C (Texas Inferno) - Johnson is a 6'1 big man that can finish over the top of the defense, and uses his nice length to block shots with ease. His main thing he should work on heading forward is his conditioning, and obvioulsy continuing to get stronger. Overall, he had an impressive weekend and certainly showed potential to be dominant one day down the road if he can continue to grow.

Carlos Stewart Jr., 2021 SF (Capital City Crushers) Stewart Jr. is a high energy guy who loves scoring on the fast break.  He can get a defensive rebound and start the transition with the best of them.  He scores on all three levels and if you leave him open he can knock down the long ball with regularity.

Damyan Saldua, 2020 PG (Houston Takeover) - Saldua possesses some real confidence and swagger in his game, that was really fun to watch. He always stayed calm no matter what kind of situation his team was in. He was great at leading the break and racking up the assists in transition, and showed he was very capable of knocking down the three point jumper.

Trey Witcher, 2020 CF (SA Finest) - Witcher continued to show off his fantastic shooting abilities this weekend, picking up right where he left off last time the Future150 staff saw him. He has a very high motor and is always active on both ends of the floor. His gritty style of play along with his pure shooting abilities should pay off dividends in the future.

Mason Bourque, 2020 F (Houston Takeover) Bourque is a very intense player who loves mixing it up in the paint.  He gets alot of free throw opportunities due to his overall aggression.  His attacking style of play kept his team in games all weekend long.  Coaches love players where they never give up on a play.  Solid overall performance on the wee

Lawrence Pierre Jr., 2020 PG (Capital City Crushers) - Pierre Jr. showed off his elite playmaking abilities in Alabama a few weeks ago at the Future150 Birmingham Main Event Tournament. Not much changed here as he always drew all the attention from opposing defenses because of his fantastic scoring and passing skills. Very bright future for this young buck if he continues to grow and get stronger.

Jasten Thomas, 2021 PG (Louisiana Rockets) - Thomas was one of the biggest competitors out of the entire field this weekend. He always tried his hardest to lead his team to a win, no matter what he had to do. The scoring abilities are certainly there for Thomas, and he was a solid rebounder as well. Heading forward he needs to work on his court vision and defense if he wants to max out his potential in the future to come.

Treveon Cormier, 2020 SG (Louisiana Rockets) - Cormier was a stingy defender and scored buckets at all three levels on a very consistent basis. Easily one of the better two guards in the 14U division, he was a handful to deal with on both ends of the floor. If he holds this skill set heading forward, and continues to grow he should certainly emerge as a college prospect in the future.

Warren Robinson, 2020 PF (Fort Bend Eclipse) - One of the best scorers in the division, Robinson showcased his ability to take over games, as he did when he dropped 30 points during bracket play this past weekend. The lengthy four man has a strong frame and is built to dominate on the block. He also showed his mid-range jumper and is a very capable free throw shooter. He takes home MVP Honors in the 14U Division.

Ronal Patin Jr., 2020 PG (Louisiana Rockets Patin) - Patin Jr. was a very solid floor general that communicated on defense well, and always seemed to make the right passes. He also kept the defense guessing by using his handles to create space for himself and score some buckets on his own.
