Houston, TX (Future150) -- Future150 Tournament Series was back in Houston to kick off the 2016 year with the Easter Showcase this past weekend. Teams from 4 different states were on hand to showcase their talents.

Griffin Datcher- 2021, F -God's First: Datcher is a scoring machine, that would always get hot in the second half. Once he gets it going he can score four and five buckets in a row. He made his living attacking the basket and put backs off the offensive glass. He showed a good feel for the game and knows how to finish once he gets the ball in his hands. Hard worker would be the best attribute to describe his game to this point. He lead his team to the championship.

Trejon Ware- 2020, PG - Team Harden: This past weekend there were a lot of talented PGs that came and showcased their talents for their respective teams, but Trejon stuck out in every game he played in this past weekend. He is a young PG with a nice IQ and knows how to facilitate as well as score the ball. He put on a displayed this weekend of both, using ball screens and in different situations on the floor and scoring the ball in transition. His game will continue to grow as he ages beacuse he is a coachable kid, and he has leaderships skills that a lot of players his age don't have.

Chris Felix- 2021, CG - God's First: Felix has plenty of upside to his game, and with his long frame he showed this past weekend why he was one of the better all around players. Chris played both ends of the floor very well, defensively he forced turnovers, blocked shots and rebounded. Offensively he was a force scoring off the dribble, and attacking the rim. He even drained a deep three pointer a few times. He spoke to me after his HUGE upset win over Team Harden and told me that he is trying to get better every day.

Hudson Boyd- 2021, PF - Basketball University: Boyd was one of the best big men in his age group this past weekend. He earned that reputation by doing a number of great things offensively and defensively. Hudson is tall and young but a strong and phyiscal player on both ends of the floor. He showed his abilities defensively by domating the glass and getting just about every rebound. His offensive game was strong the entire tournament, he's very versatile offensively, because he can shoot the mid range jumper and can put the ball on floor well for his size.

Adrian Body- 2021, CG - FYN All Stars: Body is a skilled guard that knows how to score in many ways. He handles the ball well in the open floor and has good court vision. He is a superb on ball defender, which casues problems for his opponents. He plays hard on both ends and never gives up on a play. Competitor would be a good word to describe his game.

Jordan Williams- 2021, G - F.B.A: Williams was one of the more consistent players we saw on the weekend. He averaged over eight points per game and was a clear cut leader on his team. Running the floor in transition is just one of the things he does well along with getting to the rim and finishing. Williams loves to compete, and he's always locked in once he hits the floor.
