North Charleston, SC (Future150) -- If this season is any indication, Burke High School (SC) has an extremely bright future on the hardwood.
Right now, two freshman are leading the way for the Bulldogs, and are both names to track over the next several years.
Point guard Sidney Robinson and shooting guard Adonicas Sanders are two extremely bright spots in the young season for Burke, and big things are expected of the duo over the coming years.
Right now, the 5-foot-8 Robinson is averaging 10 points and four assists, while the 6-foot Sanders is averaging eight points and five rebounds per game, and their progress has impressed Burke head coach Dion Richardson.
"I see continous growth. They both get better on a daily basis," he told Future150.
For Robinson, the transition to varsity basketball has been a challenge, but one he has enjoyed.
"It's been a good experience. I look to provide for my teammates and be a leader for us," he said.
For Sanders, the younger brother of Fairleigh Dickinson guard Sidney Sanders, he has big aspirations for the season and his career.
"I'm expected to score, get my team involved, and be a leader. I want to take my team to state," he told us.
Stay tuned to Future150 for updates on the talented duo.
