I have personally seen some of the ALLEGED class of 2018 play in person…I respect and appreciate some of these young baller’s skills and talents but play your REAL AGE GROUP…I think the class rankings should reflect on some of the age differences with some of these young men.

I have stated again and again, I *DO* take into account DOB when compiling rankings and accessing potential, and so does the current JrFuture150.com staff that works with me for that matter.

However, there are times when the player(s) in question—that also happen to be ‘grade exceptions’—, are both better players and better prospects than their younger peers. Sure that’s not always the case, but it certainly happens.

I’ve also gone on record that I am hopeful a major travel organization, such as AAU, will do away with competition by grade and organize their events by DOB. However, the reasoning for *NOT* doing that is because for scholarship purposes, age is not a factor for collegiate programs/coaches.

Regardless of anyone’s opinion, an eligible freshman is an eligible freshman at the collegiate level, whether that player is 18 years old or 28 years old. That notion has had a trickle down effect to grassroots basketball and is the source of all this reclassification ‘drama’.

Greg Williams is the best player in the 2018 class. He’s 6’4 and he runs the point for Lafayette Christian Academy. His team is the #2 seed in the Class 1A playoffs in Louisiana. Finishes above the rim and can consistently knock down the 3 ball.

Love your passion for the Louisiana kids! Williams is a talent!

I think the top 8th grader is Kash Gobir. I’ve seen this kid play before and he put on a show. He plays for Baseline Basketball Academy he looks about less than 6 foot and he s a great passer and attacks the rim like a freight train. He has a decent jumper and he is a great on ball defender and post defender. He has great ball anticipation and is able to on ball steals almost at will. He can block he has speed and is able to control the tempo of the game. He is very consistent i saw when watching the tournament like at least 15-20 points per game. His downside is he is a little out of shape but looks like hell grow out of it and he has questionable leadership skills. Cant wait to see him play again.

Arlington Middle School has a lot of talent in the 2018 class. Starting with their big man 6’4 Garrett Golday. He has great footwork, and he has an outstanding rebounding ability. He has a lot of potential. With their backcourt, Boston Miller , Tate kolwyck, and John Anderson Jr they all had an unbelievable season. Tate kolywck was without a doubt the best shooter in the county. He couldn’t miss in the county championship game. Boston Miller was the leader of the team. He helped them with his ball handling, big shot making and big smile. John Anderson Jr had a shorter season than everyone else due to injury, but when he played he took over. whenever he had the ball, he made a play. Either he scored, rebounded or got someone an open shot. These players are huge standouts in the 2018 class. They will be a fun to watch next year at Arlington High School.

OMG!!! I seen a 6’7 Guard from Georgia at the Fab Frosh camp this weekend that has to be 1 or 2 in the class. His name is Khavon Moore and I was telling some coaches about him and look on your site to show them and he isn’t rank in the top 75 better yet the top 5. He got to be the most underated player in the 2018 class. This young man can play the 1-4. This Young man is going to be special. Might be one of the best to come thru Ga in years. Will he be at the Elite 24. If so please let me know… enjoyed watching him… Remind me of Penny Hardaway!!!

I coach the ABC SELECT / SWARM from Arkansas and I saw Bagley at the 8th grade AAU Nationals in orlando. If there is a prospect better than Bagley I would be amazed. He is extremely skilled and has solid understanding of the game.

Personally with all respect to Future 150, I think the 2018 rankings are overrated, and believe me, im a big fan of future 150, i think the rankings are overrated because with Chase Adams PG from Chicago, sitting at 26th in the nation, when he’s arguably one of the top 5 players in the nation, did you’ll not see what he did at John Lucas? and Damon Harge Jr the point Guard from Florida, sitting at 37th, that kid brings Kyrie Irving to his feet! Damon Harge is arguably THE BEST player in the Nation, And Hutton Reed the point guard from Alabama, who isn’t even ranked in the top 75, he’s listed as a college prospect, but was given a one star, and Ladarius Marshall the SF from Mississippi, who i think without a doubt is the number 1 player in the nation, the 6’5 SF is already dunking windmills!!
