  • Scout’s Notes:

Justin is a strong and athletic wing prospect with the frame of a college player. He gets to the rim whenever he pleases using his strength and quirk first step. In transition, he is a dangerous finisher who runs the floor at all times.

J.O. Johnson @ Madison Academy (November 20, 2014): The hyper aggressive Hopkins' JOJ squad coughed up an enormous lead on the road.  As the game tightened up Hopkins became the team's most reliable scorer.  He is ruthless against smaller defenders.  He will body him up.  He will post up and overpower.  Hopkins is a good leaper, who is strong in the air.  He has a strong physique and loves to attack the rim.  Rebounding is a strength.  Shot selection can be questionable.  -AForce
