Future 150 Underclassman Camp (Feb. 21, 2014)- is the number 9th ranked player in the 2019 class, and he showed why. Dj made everything look effortless and easy. Ran the floor very well and entertained a lot of the campers with some highlight dunks. Dj also showed that he can play the small forward postion and be effective with his handle and his ability to shoot out to 3 point range.- Ricky Wilson
Future150 Memorial Day Classic (May 23-25th, 2015): Jefferies plays with such ease that an onlooker could confuse his confidence for overly casual play. The young man rarely appears fazed even by double teams. Possibly only three players were currently better than D.J. in the gym all weekend and they are two years older.
